Oxford 2019
Our trip started on early Monday morning with a 14 hour bus ride to the historic town of Oxford, GB. Upon first arrival we were pulled into the city’s charm. On an informative city tour we learned all about the famous Oxford University and all the other intellectual sights of the city. On Wednesday we visited Stratford upon Avon, a calm, dreamy town and Shakespeare’s birthplace. There we followed in the footsteps of countless famous actors by acting out Shakespeare’s most famous play “Romeo and Juliet” ourselves. On Thursday we went for a journey to Castle Combe a small, sleepy English town, untouched since the 16th century and then we went for a visit to Cirencester an old and also modern town full of life and modern English culture. Sadly the next morning we already had to leave for our way back to Germany.
